Camp Snowball Information

WHAT IS CAMP SNOWBALL?

Camp Snowball is a Winter Retreat for students in grades 6-12. Camp Snowball takes place at Camp Meribah and includes all the fun of Summer Camp but with a winter twist. Activities include devotionals, games, free time, and more.

WHEN IS CAMP SNOWBALL?

Camp Snowball will take place December 27-30, 2023. Registration will begin in Ken McDonald Hall at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, December 27. Camp Snowball will end on Saturday, December 30th, at 10:30 a.m. Please make sure to have someone ready to pick you up by no later than 11:00 a.m.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?

You will need basic camp supplies, such as your Bible, toiletries, towels, flashlight, and changes of warm and active clothes. You will need to bring a sleeping bag or bedding for a twin-size camp bed and a pillow. Students should not bring anything they do not want to be responsible for if it becomes lost, broken, stolen, etc. Remember that Camp Snowball is a church retreat, and students should not bring any items, clothing, weapons, etc, that would be considered inappropriate in a church setting.

SPECIAL ITEMS TO PACK (Optional)

To help participate in the Christmas spirit of Camp Snowball, campers are also asked to pack the following items for different activities each day:

  • A tacky Christmas sweater
  • Christmas Pajamas
  • Hockey jersey / t-shirt / clothing / etc

 

HOW MUCH IS CAMP SNOWBALL?

The cost for Camp Snowball is $85. This money will cover the cost of lodging, food, a hoodie sweatshirt, transportation, supplies, etc.

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

To attend Camp Snowball, complete the online registration form. Students must also have a parent/guardian agree to our waiver, which is included in the online registration. Checks should be made to the Centerville Church of Christ and can be sent to the church office at:
