Volume XXXXIV –Number 47

We are rapidly approaching the end of another year that the Lord has given us. This last year has been a crazy year that has like so many before seemed to fly by. I hope as you reflect back on 2024 that you see spiritual growth in yourself and that you remember all the blessings that God provided for you.

The end of the year invites us to reflect on our spiritual journey over the past twelve months. In the Bible, there are numerous calls to reflect, examine, and be aware of our walk with God. The apostle Paul encourages Christians to “examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). It is through self-examination that we can identify areas of growth and areas where we may need more diligence. The end of the year offers an ideal time to consider:

  • Have we grown in our knowledge of God’s Word?
  • Have we remained faithful in prayer and worship?
  • Have we been active in serving others, as Christ did?
  • Did we bring someone to the Lord?

I hope we all see the need and desire to grow in our walk with God each and every year that we are given by God. I know it may be difficult for some who have experienced great loss this year but as we close one chapter and prepare for the next, let us take a few moments to reflect on our faith, express our gratitude to God, and anticipate the blessings and challenges of the new year with hope and trust. The end of the year is not just a time of looking back, but also a time to look forward with renewed commitment to following Christ and fulfilling His mission to reach the lost.

May we enter the new year with a deeper devotion to God, a heart full of gratitude, and a spirit eager to serve. In all things, let us seek to glorify God in our lives, as we share His love with a world around us! Renee and I wish you a happy holiday season and a blessed new year! We Love you!

God Bless -Todd
