Sunday, we begin a new preaching series that will be presented over the course of six weeks, entitled, ‘Deeply Flawed.’ This series will be based on the life of David, a man who was deeply flawed, but who was also identified as a man after God’s own heart. How could that be? How could a man who made so many mistakes and fell so hard be a man called the one after the heart of God Himself? During our time together in this study we will explore these questions.
All of us, because we are flesh and blood, are deeply flawed. No matter how hard we try, we fail and we fall and we need someone to pick us up. We have that ‘someone’, Jesus, who is called the Son of God, the Son of Mary, the Son of Man…the Son of David. I look forward to sharing this series with you and to encouraging you from the Word of God to live a courageous life of faith, not because of what you have done, but because of what Jesus has accomplished on your behalf!
