Sunday, we come to the third installment of our current preaching series, ‘Fearfully And Wonderfully Made.’ As we do, the question will be posed, ‘Why am I here?’ Knowing the trouble man would cause and the trouble people would be, what would move God to create us in the first place? There must be some reason or reasons why we are all here and scripture answers that plainly.
If you were to ask most people today what they are doing for the care and preservation of their own soul, you would likely get a blank stare. Of the three components God has created us with, the soul is of greater value than the whole world. Jesus says so! So, what is your price? What would you take in exchange for that part of you that will live for eternity? No one wants to stand and say that out loud and yet people do it every day. Let us place the care of our souls in the finished and accomplished work of Jesus! Jim Brown
