Super Sunday was indeed a super Sunday. No, not because of some sporting event, but because like every Sunday we gathered as God’s children to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. I’m thankful to each of you who faithfully commit yourselves to being at every service of the Lord’s church. God has called us to be faithful in many ways and He will not accept less from us than He knows we are able to do. After all, God knows everything about us, our thoughts, our intentions, our actions, and our good works. To God be the glory in all that we do and speak!

I am excited as we began a series Sunday night that I have wanted to do for many years, “Preaching through the Psalms”. Psalm is a truly unique book with 150 songs written by several authors ranging from the exodus of God’s people to their exile that expresses every emotion from complaint to praise and some prophecy thrown in. By the end of this series, I pray that we have a better grasp of this marvelous book, but more importantly that it may have a better grasp on us. It has been said that all of life with God can be expressed in Psalms. May it expand our understanding of prayer and praise and have our hearts warmed toward our Lord and God.

This coming Sunday will be a little different as we will have a combined worship service with the congregation in India. We will speak a little slower as what we say will have to be interpreted for them. I pray that it will not distract you from your worship to God, but that as we join with our brothers and sisters in India our God will be glorified in our praise to Him. Our time with them will be of great encouragement to them as it will be to us as well. I hope that you will join us not only this Sunday but for every service of the Lord’s glorious church here in Centerville. See ya Sunday! God Bless -Todd
