This week, we come to the third lesson in our current Sunday morning preaching series and take a careful look at the generosity God has given each of us. Even a casual inventory of the blessings we have received at the hand of God reveals a bounty so much greater than we deserve. While we often focus on the material, once you get past that list, the blessings we receive in Christ and the promises God has made to those who accept and live in Him are beyond our ability to imagine!
But how about taking all those blessings and using them to bless the lives of other people? How are we doing in that regard? It’s easy to count dollars, to be thankful for a home to live in, food to eat and a measure of good health. It is much harder for us to decide that all of these things are currency to be spent in the service of others and in leading them to the kingdom. God has blessed us all in so many ways. He has definite plans for how we are to use these blessings for His glory and for the purpose of bringing the lost to see Him and to know Him. Sunday, we will explore those opportunities! Jim Brown
